L&T Build-India Scholarship
ECC - the Construction Division of Larsen and Toubro - will sponsor fresh, deserving engineering graduates interested in pursuing M.Tech in Construction Technology in IIT (Delhi, Madras). The scholarships signify ECC's keenness to enhance industry-academia interface The 24-month course will begin in July 2011.

NTPC Scholarships

They should not be receiving any financial aid or assistance from any source.

Women Scientist Scholarship Scheme (WOS-C)
A scheme of Government of India for the women scientists, "Women Scientists Scholarship Scheme (WOS-C)" Is being operated by the Departmentof Sciences Technology (DST). The schemeaimstotrain women havingqualificationslnscEence/engineering/ medicine or allied areas in the area of intellectual property rights (IPR) and their management for a period of one year. Government is interested in retaining the scientific talent of Indian women seeking scientific pursuits and keen to encourage women to work from their homes and enabling them to draw a good balance between professional and domestic demands. The scheme is being coordinated and imptemented by Patent Facilitating Centra (PFC)of Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC)on behalf of DST.

Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme
The Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme is implemented at the national level. There are hundreds of art forms practised in our country. Since the number of scholarships available are limited, only exceptionally talented and outstanding students need to apply.

The Hindu-Hitachi Scholarships
In association with Hitachi Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, THE HINDU invites applications for Scholarship for technical training in JAPAN. The number of Scholarships will be three.

Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarships 2011
Dr Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India, is a graduate and Honorary Fellow of St John's College. He is widely acknowledged as the architect of the economic reforms that have helped propel India onto the World Stage. In honour of Dr Singh St John's College, the University of Cambridge launched the Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarships in Delhi in 2007. These awards will enable academically outstanding Indian students to come to St. John's College, University of Cambridge to study for doctoral degrees in subjects like Science & Technology, Economics and Social Sciences.
