Vegetarianism in India is driven by religious and cultural beliefs.
This is the way of life for millions of people in India. Being
vegetarian means eating only plant based products. However, dairy
products are included in venerating meals, though they are derived
from animals. Now when it comes to eating out, vegetarian people are
always apprehensive of the quality of the food, especially the older
people. But not now, as these apprehensions are the things of past.
There are thousands of vegetarian restaurants in India located in all
corners of the country.
